This is the baby in the family, Cathy's "bonus boy".  When he gets a little older he can team up with big brother Jack and then the males will have the advantage in this household.  Poor mom Cathy will probably suffer from this gender imbalance but I suspect sister Rachel will do just fine!  She's quite capable of defending her interests.

Current Events 2007

Two and a half years have passed since I've posted any news on Alex and that's almost half of his life!  I'll try to do better this year.  Alex attends pre school several days a week at St Raphael's Catholic School.  Although he's still young for organized sports Mom and Dad wanted to give him a little head start and enrolled him in Pee Wee football and basketball.  If my memory serves me, 4 year olds playing group games are like bees swarming a hive intruder, everybody goes after the ball.   Put patience will pay off and in 3 years even a little boy will turn into a creditable athlete.

Current Events 2004

Oct 06 - I'm a few days late to report that Alex celebrated his 2nd birthday on Sunday, October 3.  Family members and friends gathered at the birthday boy's home in Potomac to wish Alex the best as he moved from toddlerhood into the terrible twos.  (I don't know which stage of development is worse!)  The  fest was originally scheduled to occur on September 25 but Cathy was forced to cancel due to the death of Mimi, the true matriarch of this family along the Lambert lines.  Sunday turned out to be a glorious day for an outdoor party and all the guests enjoyed early fall weather as well as casual dining on the backyard patio.  The birthday boy seemed to like all his presents but I think the highpoint of the celebration for him was the cake, a true man!
