Ava Catherine

Ava arrived by C-section on Friday, January 5.  Her birthday was no surprise since the family had scheduled the delivery for early in the month, but her gender certainly was unexpected by mom Tammy.  She was positive she was carrying a boy.  Rob, on the other hand, had seen the sonogram and was fairly certain the new arrival would be female.  Since Tammy chose to remain ignorant of the baby's gender Rob kept his insight to himself.  He allowed Tammy to choose only names for boys and never even hinted that perhaps she should consider feminine alternatives.  But that's all history now, Ava got a great name (granted it was at the last minute) and has contentedly settled into the household.  Robby is happy to be a big brother but Miss Emma isn't sure yet that she wants to share her world with another girl!  But I predict that the 2 ladies will be best friends as the years go by.

Current Events 2007

Mom Tammy send me some info to share with everybody so they can better understand Ava and I will try to reproduce it verbatim.  "Ava  stays home with mommy, favorite food is milk, best friend is mommy, favorite time of day 2:00a.m., favorite place to sleep, with mommy.   Get the picture!!"  I think we all do!
