Introducing Emma Lauren, the newest addition to the clan.  She arrived by C-section on Tuesday, June 22, after almost 24 hours of trial labor.  Poor Tammy really wanted a natural delivery but it just wasn't in the cards.  Emma weighed in at a healthy 8lbs12oz and was judged to be perfect by all in attendance at her birth.  Big brother Robby arrived in the early afternoon to meet his new sister but he was more interested in the Elmo video that was playing than in Emma.  I'm sure that will change in the near future!

Current Events 2007

Emma is now 2 1/2 years old and is she a character!  She's cute, smart, very verbal, and I suspect her brother would call her bossy.  Emma loves playing, especially with the toys Robby has, and often she has a sweet way of convincing him to hand then over.  I see a lawyer in her future.  To help pass the cold winters in West Virginia she is enrolled in toddler gymnastic classes and I hear she's very good.  Like most little girls Emma is enamored of Care Bears and Dora the Explorer.  She hasn't yet mastered the potty but she's working on it and when she's successful Grammy will buy her some pretty "big girl" panties.
