Becky and Rob Becky and Rob These two have been married a long time, since three weeks after graduating from college at James Madison University. They spent the next 6 years living in the the area surrounding Charlottesville while Becky finished her education. With that mission accomplished these two returned to Virginia and today they share their comfortable home with 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 little girls, Sara, Megan, and Annie. Rob works for the owner of several Gold's Gyms and is in the process of developing a set of standards that will apply to all sites. At least this is how I understand the job.
Current Events 2007 Shame on me! It's been 3 years since I put any new information about the Becky and Rob on their web page and I've missed a very important event in their lives - the birth of Anabel Helen. Annie was born on July 5, 2005 and made the family officially a matriarchy! Poor Rob, it's only going to get worse when all that estrogen gets flowing! Current Events 2004 March 4 - According to a reliable source this family just returned from seven glorious days in Lake Tahoe. Lucky for them Rob's parents live part-time in this beautiful part of the US and make their homestead available to their offspring for a week every winter. Along with the amenities that guests usually receive, Becky and Rob had the added bonus of a babysitter for little Megan! This allowed them to take to the slopes for extended periods and enjoy a level of mountain skiing that is unavailable in the east. While the parents tackled the advanced slopes Sara attended ski school and I understand she passed with flying colors! She is now an official "junior ski bunny". But outdoor activities aren't the only things that draw the Becky and Huff to Nevada - the gambling there is superb. Becky and Joan frequented the casinos in the evenings and Becky claims she actually won $300.00! Don't get cocky Beck, in the end the house always wins! Anyway, all this is history now and the family is back in the Commonwealth and looking forward to a typical Virginia spring, warm and wonderful. March 7 - I didn't know we had a performing artist in the family but how ignorant I was! Our boy, Rob, made his official musical debut last night to a packed house at one of the local watering holes. His four member band entertained us from 9:00PM until midnight playing a varied selection of music, most of which I didn't recognize. It must be a generation thing. The little ensemble consisted of a lead singer, a guitarist, a keyboard/synthesizer player and Rob on the drums. Just about everybody connected to any member of the band by marriage, genetics or friendship was in attendance. I believe I speak for all of us when I say we had a great time and hope to be present at many more performances. |
