Robert Thomas

Robby  dob. 01-14-03

Before he was born Robby's parents had picked out a different name for him.  Gifts were purchased by relatives and engraved with this agreed upon appellation but everything changed on January 14, 2003.  Rob senior took a first look at his creation and was overwhelmed, only Robert Thomas III would be fitting for this firstborn son.   We all know that Rob has put down some mighty large footprints (size 13) for Robby to step in but we think he'll be up to the task.

Current Events 2007

Four year old Robby is now a big boy, he goes to preschool 3 mornings a week at Serendipity.  He's too old for an afternoon nap so while sisters sleep he keeps busy playing with Thomas the Train or his cars.  Robby especially likes the movie Cars and can spend hours playing with the miniature replicas of the characters from this film.  When Robby needs company he likes to play with Emma or his best friend from next door, Lydia.

January 14 - Little Robby turned 4 this year and he's no longer little!  He's a big brother to 2 sisters and he's also a pre school student 3 days a week.  Opa and I weren't invited to the party since big boys have friends to celebrate special occasions with but we were there in spirit.  And I sent Robby a set of peewee golf clubs so he can learn the game and some day join his dad on the links.  I know Rob is thrilled by this prospect!

Current Events 2004

February 21 - Finally, something to do on a cold winter day!  Relatives on both sides of the family got together in dreary Morgantown, WV to celebrate little Robby's first birthday.  We all know he turned 1 in January but schedule conflicts prevented an earlier party since most merrymakers had to travel from out of the area.  In attendance on Saturday were neighbors and friends, both sets of proud grandparents, Aunt Debby and family, and Aunt Cathy and family.  The day was passed in typical party fashion with gifts, balloons, pizza, cake and favors.  Around 9:00PM the kids  settled for the evening, the geriatric crowd departed for local motels and the "me generation"  relaxed with appropriate beverages and ample time for  quality sibling bonding.  Everybody planned to leave Morgantown by mid-morning and I can report that Kenny and I were on the road bright and early, but I can't speak for the rest of the revelers!
